When someone hears the name RED HURLEY they may think many things. That he hails from a long lamented show band era that he was a poster boy, sex symbol of the 1970's a one time hit maker, great but only think momentarily of Red in that genre, because I'd like to introduce Ireland
to the new 21st century Red. A man with an amazing singing talent, a mature, sexy hit maker who has worked darned hard and trained to the best of his strengths and the highest of his abilities to get where he is today. On Top!!!

Dr Angelou was surprised by her friend Red at her recent 80th birthday party in the US. Red was invited stateside to do a 3 month tour extravaganza, culminating in a concert which was televised by PBS!!!
PBS gave Red a two hour slot to promote his new DVD and a coast to coast special which aired from November until March '08.
There are a lot of exciting things happening over there, and Red is happy to discuss it all. For instance, Red exclusively revealed to 'Saturday Night with Miriam'- RTE TV's summer flagship show, that he has been booked for The Oprah Winfrey Show!!!
Red's performance on the first 'Saturday Night With Miriam' of the season generated a staggering (nearly) 500,000 viewers - that's 34.7 per cent of the viewing population who tuned in to see and hear a man who possesses timeless charm, appeal and a golden voice - Mr Red Hurley.
Miriam's viewers witnessed Red as an energetic, charming gentleman whose personality shone through during his entertaining, humorous interview and then when he belted out a live performance of 'I Will Sing,' the audience response was a staggering outburst of applause and cries for more.
Legandary hit maker, Louis Walsh clapped vigorously as he emotionally declared "Red Hurley is a truly great singer. One of the best. I have downloaded all his hits onto my iPod. I love this man's talent."
At present, Red is busy recording his latest album, one of the tracks is a real tear jerker - Dancing With Cinderella . It's a poignant tale of a dad finally letting go his precious daughter at her Debs ball and giving her to her first boyfriend the new man in her life. Think 'Dance With My Father Again,' and combine that with Red's amazing soulful voice and there won't be a dry eye in the house!
Performances throughout Europe and the US have firmly established Red Hurley as a top class entertainer. According to Ensign Records, "Red's powerful voice, charm, energetic stage performance has captured the hearts of
audiences."

The 2005 album "You're Still You" catapulted Red into the 'high
demand' category and populated a larger, wider audience.
Ensign Records are thrilled to announce his album 'Always There for Me', containing his smash hit single 'I Will Sing' and his big summer single (most played single in Ireland this year) 'We Were in Love'.

Red's sell out concert tour at Waterford Theatre Royal on the 22nd October, Dublin's Olympia Theatre on 26th, 27th and 28th of October and at the Cork Opera house on the 1st November were huge successes and all of the songs from the album were extremely well received.
This September Red and the Band start "The Red Hurley Hits Tour&rdquo which kicks off on the 12th September in the Helix Theatre in Dublin and finishes on the 12th October in The new Everyman Palace Theatre in Cork.
